I was just Thinkin’
I was reading an article on AARP about a large study by Dr. J. Orlich MD and a number of others, confirming that eating a Vegetarian Diet can extend your projected lifespan.
It showed that avoiding Pork, Beef, and even Chicken can reduce early deaths by as much as 12 percent relative to non-vegetarians And over the six year study, these people also had 19 percent fewer deaths from Heart disease.
Even if you add Seafood and Fish to your Vegetarian-style diet, you still have the same lower chance of early death. Eating these Vegetarian foods with the addition of Seafood’s is similar to a Mediterranean style diet and is in line with similar data on Mediterranean diets.
Interestingly, adding meats, regardless of whether you are a Vegetarian or not did not change the chancel of Cancer occurring.
