I had a friend that recently went to their Dentist to have a new Bridge made and installed in their mouth.
I know many of you have probably had to do the same thing at one time or another., so you know that, all too often, when they are working in your mouth, you will Gag.
This is especially true when they are placing such things as plates for x-rays or materials to make impressions of your gums, etc. in your mouth.
Anyway, this friend mentioned that there is a strange trick you can do to prevent yourself from Gagging.
When they are working in your mouth and you feel the need to Gag, straighten your legs out and curl your feet back towards your head.
It seems that for some reason, this physical action will help suppress your Gag reflex.
I know, it sounds weird, but my friend said that she did this a couple of times when she had that Gagging reflex setting in, and it immediately went away.
So, the next time you are at the Dentist, try this little trick out, I know I will.
