Hey, Mr. 1%!
Let me think a minute!
OK! If I work for a living and make, say, $30K, I have to pay taxes.
I don;t know how to do taxes, typically, so I pay someone to do that for me. I have no deduction except for my House interest and it is not enough. My medical care was not catastrophic, so it’s not deductible. My work clothes are not uniforms.
SO I have to file straight form and PAY, because my Boss didn’t take out enough, in the first place?
You? the 1%? You have an accountant. You get to take your Sports car as a business expense. You get to take your week in the Bahamas as an expense because you went to a one-day conference on how to save on your taxes. You write off your designer clothes as a business expense. And on and on!
After every possible deduction by your accountant, you end up claiming $100K as income. And you feel that’s unfair to you?
Get a Life, Mr. 1%.
We need the playing field leveled a bit!
