Afternoon Heat,
Racing Clouds with Black Bellies,
Bursting across the fairways.
Rain Blowing, almost horizontal.

And Me?

Just sitting on the Lanai,
Vodka for me and
White Wine for my Lady.

Laughing at Mother Nature,
her sense of Humor,

and her Consideration

of our Comfort by cooling us down.
